A an old door being opened. This is one of the sounds we have recorded during the production of a short film. We have used a roland sound recorder and the condenser azden shotgun microphone to catch the sound.

Ticking s/fx. Good for many clock or watch sounds. It is actually a taylor mechanical kitchen timer. It was recorded with a contact mic in anechoic chamberclock_02 is the same timer but was recorded with an external mic, and has a thinner sound, more like a wrist watch type sound. All the files in this pack can be seamlessly looped.

The sound of a metal kitchen oven door being opened various times and speeds. There is a metallic squeak to the sound (like it needs wd-40 or something).

Short and fast typing on a regular computer-keyboard. Its close-miced but there's still a little room ambience on it.

Pounding my fist on the dinner table, set with plates and silverware. I had forks balanced so that they would slide off when my fist hit the table.

Old soviet washing machine "сибирь-2" ("siberia-2") drain for 3 minutes (controlled by mechanical timer) and then smoothly stops. It use centrifuge to drain.

A series of characteristic clicking and rattling sounds created by handling a transforming robot toy as intended.

In front of my desk in my room is a wood paneled wall with a cubbie. It's about a foot wide, 10 inches from top to bottom and maybe 7 inches deep. I'm just guessing. Around this cubbie is a border of wood. In the bottom right corner under the border i have jammed one end of an elastic string that used to have glitter on it. It's from a christmas box of chocolates my uncle sent me last year. I stand in front of this cubbie whose bottom is at chin height, (i'm only 5ft1in) so my arms are above my head as i pull this string across the cubbie up and to the left to the border on the top which acts as my only fret. The string is a few inches longer than the cubbie is wide, but when i pull it it gets longer so my hand is 3/4 along it's length as i pull back and forth across the border to tighten and loosen the string. No matter how hard i pull it never pops loose from it's mooring. This time the mic is sitting in the cubby so i get a much clearer and louder sound. When i stretch the string across the top it has a fairly long sustain, so i can play 4 notes on a single pluck.

Our good old bosch dishwasher is doing its magic. This is a more rhythmic loop. You can hear a glass or bowl squeaking/ringing in the water jet inside the device. Recorded x/y stereo with two audio technica at4041 mics into a marantz pmd 661 recorder. Normalized plus some eqing using fabfilter pro-q3.

Sound of a washer and dryer running together. Recorded in a closed laundry room so there is a bit of reverb.

Different drawers have different weights of clothes in them, and are in different states of repair, so if the first sounds aren't quite what you're listening for, take a listen to the later sounds.
